And what other way to celebrate than with FREE Fried Chicken!!!! Boxcar Betty’s, fast casual restaurant chain located at 500 W. Madison St. in the Ogilvie Transportation Center, will be giving out free sandwiches to customers that make any monetary donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The restaurant will give out a free fried chicken buttermilk biscuit sandwich for breakfast (6:30-8:30 a.m.). During dinner (4:30-6 p.m.), customers can choose between a free Boxcar sandwich (pimiento cheese, peach slaw, pickles and spicy mayo) or the classic Betty (lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo). Boxcar Betty’s will also be accepting donations all day.
