“Curators of Summer” 2016 Meet & Greet Recap

“Curators of Summer”

2016 Meet and Greet

Networking with a purpose.  Oh yes we did!  Last Wednesday, September 14th SummertimeChi hosted the “Curators of Summer” 2016 Meet & Greet at Good Details in Chicago. Sponsored by Lyft, this exclusive event was intended to recognize some of Chicago’s very own local talents and leaders in multiple industries; however, recognition was the least of our worries.  The entire night the room maintained a heightened pitch that signified a “job well done.” Curators mingled and networked among themselves and with guest throughout the evening.  Not only was the room filled with joy but the actual exhibit that plastered the walls brought about a certain level of self awareness.  Explained by Co-Owner Gary Green of Good Details, the exhibition “From the Shadows” by E. Lee was all about catching superheroes in uncompromising situations.  To think, we humans are faced with uncompromising situations daily.  Are we all superheroes?

Let’s not forget that complimentary cocktails that were prepared and served by Ariel Neal of Leira Knows…Cocktails.  With the crowd feeling good, Curators were recognized and presented with branded gift bags.  Because our Curators are great at what they do and are busy being game changers, not all twenty of them were present for the meet & greet but they were certainly recognized and appreciated.
